Who is Ayrton Lucas and why is he to Spartak?
On Monday, December 17, Spartak announced the acquisition of left-back Fluminense, Ayrton Lucas, with whom a long-term contract was concluded. According to unofficial information, Muscovites paid about 7 million euros for the transition of a 21-year-old football player.
Not all of this amount will go to the Fluminense treasury. The club owned only half of the economic rights to Ayrton, and therefore has the right to claim only 3.5 million euros. Selling a key one for the “tricolor” in the completed Brazilian championship left-handed fullback became vital for the club. Fluminense now, like many South American clubs, is in dire need of money. FootballHD recalls defense players whose transfers cost the Catalan club treasury a pretty penny.
December 20, “Barcelona” announced an agreement with “Valencia” about the transition on loan to defender Jason Murillo. For the six months of the loan, the Catalans paid 2.5 million euros to the Levantis, and also registered in the contract a redemption option of 25 million euros.
If in the summer Barcelona wants to use the option and concludes a full-fledged contract with Murillo, this player will go down in the history of the Catalan club, as one of the most expensive defense players. So far, the top ten most expensive defenders bought by Barcelona look like this.

Football was being killed in my hometown. But he still survived
Kirzhach – a city on the border of the Vladimir region with a population of about 30 thousand people. In the summer it is filled with Moscow summer residents, and the rest of the time this place lives a quiet and measured life. At the district and regional championships, football players from Kirzhach sometimes give out something good, but they do not make it any further. Below is a story about amateur football that ordinary teens tried to save.
There is no professional football in Kirzhach. Championships of the region and the region – the ceiling for all who know how to do something with the ball. Stadiums are maintained in good condition, but often only mothers with children walk on them. Coaches-activists carry children to football tournaments from football sections. They are few, and none of the players still make their way somewhere higher. One of the guys tried out for a large-scale view at CSKA – I didn’t get to the final list.
